Rainbow Meditation

First, I would like to rate, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being optimal well being) the following areas:
Physical well being 8 I try to stay healthy by practicing healthy habits (diet, exercise, etc.)  I do have certain physical ailments but try not to dwell on them.  I try to work around them.  I rate an 8 because there is always room for improvement.  For diet I would like to control my sugar intake and focus more on vegetables and proteins.  Exercise, I would like to increase the intensity of my workouts but avoid injury.

Spiritual 7 I try to practice my spirituality but have neglected this area.  My goal is to have more of a sense of purpose in my life.  I hope to explore this area more fully by finding God's purpose through prayer and meditation.

Psychological 7 During the Rainbow Meditation I discovered I would like to work on self confidence so I would like to develop this area of my psychological health.  Affirmations are important for confidence building so I am making a goal of at least 10 minutes of daily positive affirmations.

The Rainbow Meditation was very relaxing.  I was so relaxed I had a hard time focusing on the principles so I had to play it over and jot down some of the points that I would like to remember.  The symbols that stood out were Love, Confidence, Purpose, Balance and Peace.  Also, when I am stressed I hold my breath.  A point that I must remember is that "exhalation is the most relaxing part of breathing and it requires no work"  just let that exhalation happen to calm our bodies and minds.  I enjoyed the Rainbow Meditation and would like to practice it regularly for relaxation and stress management.

  1. Rosie that is so great that you rate your areas so high. I find that I can use your positive array of light to shed on me. I think that those that practice how I want to be are so great to be around because they let's say rub off on me. You mentioned that your need to work on your spiritual side of things and I find that is one area that I rated higher on myself but after reading your post I may have rated myself too high in this area. I too need to find what my purpose in life is and learn to meditate more. I too really enjoyed the exercise this week and believe it is something that I can use on a regular basis.
